One of the worst umpired series I have ever watched, capped off by the clown show that is Pulmonary, and now I understand some of your gripes about Texas. Missed strikes, no review. It was a pitiful performance from LSU, I'm not denying that and we have major issues with the coaching staff, but I'll be damned if there weren't some clear biases to benefit Texas.

The non review on a pitch that didn't hit him and them reviewing 2 other plays which were obvious was pathetic. Regardless, I have no gripes about the umps at all. Blame LSU and only LSU for sucking.

We sucked this weekend. But, there was a clear bias. The zone was huge for Texas all weekend and as you said, the no review and followed by two reviews to benefit Texas was pitiful.

Well, you see, back in 1845 in New York City, a group of men formed what was known at the time as the New York Knickerbockers Baseball Club. The game was played by several different rules across the country, and never before had an organization set out to modernize the game by forming a set of rules and guidelines to be followed while playing nationwide. In an attempt to separate the sport from other popular games of the time using referees, The Knickerbockers opted to refer to the men tasked with regulating the game as umpires. And the rest is history.
