I thought artificial noisemakers were not permitted in SEC stadiums.

State fans can't read the signs prohibiting artificial noisemakers

Opponents should give msu the cowbell treatment when msu is on the road.

Every team MSU plays ought to be allowed to bring in vuvezelas but then again at LSU we just cheer louder

The vuvuzela /vu?vu?'z?l?/, also known as lepatata (its Tswana name), is a plastic horn, about 65 centimetres (2 ft) long, which produces a loud monotone note, typically around B? 3 (the B? below middle C)

I think they are required to stop clanging once the QB is set, or they get a penalty, same rules as house music and bands.

There are also NCAA rules about home uniform colors, field markings for yard lines, and field goal posts.

Just saying.

I think 400 people dressed in funny uniforms and playing "hold that Tiger" qualifies as producing artificial noise as well, if cowbells do.

Exactly.

Next thing you know, OP will be telling us that those aren't real elephants or roosters or wildcats making noise in those stadiums. Wut?
