Nick Saban went 6-6 his first year. I'll give Muschamp some time before calling him a bust.

I think Urban got lazy in his talent evaluation the last couple of years he was at UF. They still need to clean house and get a full roster of guys who fit in a pro-style offense and 3-4 defense.

I totally agree and Charlie strong ran a 3-3-5 which needs small fast LBs and blitz packages to stop the run. I give him his first year free cuz Saban, Urbs, heck even Bob Stoops needed at least one year. But seriously all we have is speed, no size at all this isnt the Pac-12 you have to be big and fast, Urbs def got lazy

They can't even tackle. They looked worse this week than last week. It looked like they quit early in the game.

so far we have beat the teams we were supposed to and lost the ones we were supposed to. And those two teams happen to be the two best teams in the country and I remember some Bama fan saying that Bama would be the Chiefs this year so losing to Bama isn't that bad

I think the real telling games were UT, and will be USC, UGA, and FSU

I agree. As an LSU fan I like the guy but when FLA made the hire I thought it was a bit of a stretch. He may end up being fine but my brains tell me he's going to find it harder recruiting than Urban did.

Agreed. Not enough has happened either way to say he was a great, mediocre, or poor hire. Exactly what happened with Bama and LSU, especially considering the injuries, happened with Bama and LSU. What happened the first four games was exactly what was supposed to happen. The only problem I see at the moment that is a concern is all the false starts. There is no excuse for that.

A lot of Florida fans said they were expecting 8-4 or 9-3. I wonder if some of them jumping the gun just wanted to sound sensible and actually believed we were going to pull of a 10 win season and an SEC championship. I know there seem to be way to many of them that sincerely believe we are as good as Bama and LSU this year and that we just got out coached. That is ludicrous.

If we don't show up against Auburn, Georgia, and FSU, I'll be concerned because we should compete in those games. As of now, I think throwing the in the towel is way premature.

I think he inherited a lot of barely coachable thugs from Cryer, that said his teams have always looked kind of undisciplined.

I think he's gonna need a chance to develop pro-style offense players before I judge going either way

I have been reading Muschamp bullshite on this board for years and I always wondered why everyone thought he was an automatic HC winner. There are reasons that some folks are lifetime assistants.
saban tree

But there is only one saban

Fisher, Dooley, and muschamp

I think Dooley turns out the best.

All three of them losing in one weekend. Shocking, but maybe it shouldn't be.

This

Way to early to call it either way. The only problem I have with him so far, is that in the last two games, when the games have gotten tough and his players have faced some adversity, he tended to coach less and focus more on the refs.
