I love it. It reports things you would never read on the main stream media. My only problem is they are too bearish, I call them indicator extrapolaters. Example "The Philly Fed reported slowing activity this quarter, obviously the world is going to be smoldering rubble in the morning." They cherry pick information just like other financial sources.
I asked because I originally got the Benny and the Ink Jets term from Tyler Durden (real name Daniel Ivanovich) on that site. I love that shite. I brush my teeth to that shite. I seriously wake up around 3 every morning to check the Asian markets. I'm always up and going by Art Cashin's comments every morning on CNBC (by the way, I met Cashin two months ago on the floor of the NYSE).
It's definitely something you have to immerse yourself to do. People get the wrong perception of Wall Street as just bankers that chase bonuses and butt frick the average citizen. Most of these guys work over 100 hours a week. I'm waiting on word from my final interview with PIMCO in New York last week and I'm absolutely stressing out of my mind. I can't even smoke weed anymore so that stress reliever is gone. I've just been working out and playing Super Smash Brothers with my girlfriend as much as possible.
So... now you know a little bit about me as a person.

I don't know that I contribute a whole lot to the conversation, but I do try to run my posts through the ol' filter before I write.
True, I came here because of Tuna's thread, but honestly I'd never heard of the place before then. Ban me if you want, but not everyone who registered in Nov 2010 came here to flame or be flamebait. Some of us just wanted to join the discussion.
