You don't have any rivals in the SEC.

What's crazy is how places like ND, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Texas are all Blue Bloods and traditional powers and obviously hyped up by the media, but when you go to a game there it's pretty meh compared to your typical SEC saturday. People here just care more, get more creative with how they represent themselves, tailgate, etc... It's a different animal down south. People here literally breath it year round.

This. I laugh hysterically every time I hear some northern or western-based media dummy proclaims Ohio State-Michigan is the greatest rivalry in college football and all of sports. Michigan has won one national championship since the '50s, and if it were a school below the Mason-Dixon line, it would be no more relevant for national attention than Georgia or Tennessee or Auburn or LSU.

Alabama-Auburn is the best rivalry in college football. Period. The other games and atmospheres in this conference also dwarf everything else other than Army-Navy. This is the greatest league for fan interest in college football, and it makes college football special to me.

Just because our administration tried to manufacture a fake rivalry one year doesn't mean the fans consider it one.

I mean honestly, why do you even want to be our rival so bad? You literally have not beaten us a single time since joining the conference
