I swear...if I hear one more person say Tua “Tunga”vailoa, I’m gonna lose it.

Hear so many people on TV pronounce it TUNGAvailoa....there’s no N in there. Marty Smith for one, the chick who did the pregame interview with Saban, pretty much every talk radio fool with a southern-ish accent.

This grinds my gears as well. No one pronounces it correctly.

I always thought it was the proper pronunciation. Like Nguyen is win. Only Tua lost.

It's the correct pronunication.

You Boudreaux Frenchie fricks should understand how sometimes the letters don't make sense when we start using your boogidy-boo languages

It is the correct pronunciation. He and his family have said as much many times.

Dude, we aren’t Polynesian.

My coonass wife still can’t understand why I can’t pronounce Leloux correctly.

You look pretty stupid with this post. That's exactly how he pronounces it.

Here he is teaching people how to pronounce it.

Lose it then, because most of us are going to insist on pronouncing it correctly.

Yes. Because it’s such an ordinary name. I mean there had to be at least 2 or 3 Tagovailoas in every grade growing up. No excuses for mispronouncing it.

I guess this is why media etc.... always say Tua. Why not just say Joe when talking about Burrow? Sounds racist to me
