I guess is this is the thread where everyone says Mizzou can't beat South Carolina, then pretend this thread doesn't exist as they make excuses for USCe losing on Saturday.

The ranks of people saying Mizzwho can't win has shrunk to the more fringe fans of our opponent SC and future opponents. OM fans had us as an easy W 3 weeks ago and now they're not sure. And when you're not sure on the Rant, just bluster away.

Now we could very well lose to SC on Saturday. Or we could win by 15-25 points. I'm not sure. But since it's at Faurot and they're missing "I-don't-throw-incompletions-against-Mizzou" Shaw, I'll give us the edge.

Congrats on being pumped about going 3-0 in your OWN division and then discounting our 2 wins last year from the same craptastic division y'all are so proud of being 3-0 in

The obvious difference is MSU had not played any of the conference/division favorites when they got to 7-0. Within the SEC they had played (eventually winless) Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee to get to 7-0. And then reality set in right quick with Alabama followed by A&M.

Mizzou on the other hand has already beaten 2 of the 3 presumed powerhouses in the SEC East.

Personally I think they're the real deal and I'm glad to see it. I don't think they can beat 'Bama, but I don't think anybody else can, either.

Yes they have, but they aren't the powers they usually are. UGA was a national champion like team this year but injuries killed them. They would have easily beat Missouri had they had their best players. Florida has a very inconsistent offense while a also having key injuries of their own.

So tell me, what decent team have they beaten?

You can't spell "sucks" without USC

Mootsman go frick yourself. Anyone who would like to rate this retort is more than welcome. (...and it appears that frick is the best the board will allow but I hope we are all clear on its original)

Go to your profile and turn off the profanity filter. It defaults to on for all the baptists.

Solid post. I dunno if I'd pick USCe to win, but I like the effort from the OP

South Carolina is the least-focused team in recent SEC memory. They could easily beat Miz, but they could also gain 12 yards in the 4th quarter and lose.

The D kinda stinks too. 28 points to UK at home = LOL.

How crazy is it that only one year later Mizz spanked your cocks in the Independence Bowl?

Do yankees really believe a 7 point victory qualifies as a spanking?

We may win, we may lose by 20. I hope our guys haven't mailed it in, but to be honest...I don't know.

I think we are more talented than mizzou, FWIW (that might not mean much, though).

After we drop 35 on y'all on Saturday, we still won't have played anyone.

And we'll have the SC fans saying "Shaw was hurt".

8-0

Final and glorious bump
