Dallas Baptist has a kid hitting lead-off from Baton Rouge by the name of River Town. River. Town.
With a name oozing travel ball greatness like River Town how did the Bayou Bengals let him slip through their grasp? Championships would be stacked and panties would be dropping all over the Box.

Me too. Would be happy if Heefner ended up in BR too, but I think McDonell will be the guy.

The SEC is lucky Alabama didn’t land this kid. The possible combinations of “River” and “Roll Tide” may have been too much for the conference to contend with. I’ll leave it to our more creative and gifted Bama posters such as SoG or Tuscaloosa to turn that potential into literary gems.
