We still have question marks on offense. We also have a major test in College Station next week. Can't get too excited with this win because Mett is still a work in progress. He has to play a near perfect game to beat Bama.

LSU deserved to be there that year despite the two losses. They proved that in the title game.
Same thing last year - all the arguing about whether Bama deserved to be there became irrelevant when they annihilated LSU.

There's a difference between worry and respect. I guarantee you our football team will go to Baton Rouge respecting what LSU can do and expecting a tough game.
I am not "worried" about anyone, because I don't see a team out there that makes me doubt that we can beat them. But I look at the UT, MSU, LSU, A&M, and auburn games as games we have to take seriously..and LSU more than any of the rest.

This....I don't understand why the OP as well as some (not all) ignorant LSU fans are mad at Bama like they should have turned down the invitation to the NC. We were given a second opportunity (deserved or not) and we made the most of it. Is that a reason to hate Bama with all of this passion? You seem weak and mentally controlled...

This. I am fully confident that the only team that can beat Bama is Bama. If Bama plays its best game, no one can beat them, regardless of if that team is playing their best game.
