Can't believe blocking a FG and driving the length of the field to set up the game winning FG is now "luck"...
dawgorama, the ASU kicker was a true freshman, obviously a bundle of nerves in front of 90,000 people at night--on the road--in the SEC.
Obviously, the field goal was blocked partly because of the low trajectory of the kick.....and obviously the blocking of field goals the way your guy blocked it very, very rarely happens unless that low trajectory is there......and even then, the timing has to be just right or it won't be blocked....and don't try to tell me that kind of timing is plannable....
Anyway, the bottom line is that you were taken to the last play of the game in two home games by unranked teams and are two plays away from being 1-3.....with the one loss being to a solid, but hardly great OSU team......
You just aren't that good, but I do think you are better than LSU is.....

No, the reason the game ended the way it did was that you lucked out by ASU's Groza Award kicker being out with an injury. If that is not the case, they make the field goal and you likely lose.
Like others have said--the field goal was blocked. Even the dumb announcer brought this up after the fact. What difference would it have made? Is his leg so strong that it would knock AJ Green back with the ball? Way to be rebtarded.

This is the problem. You've been a fricking loser for so long you look at everything thru the "what could've been" lense. We blocked a kick and the drove 60 yards to kick the game winning FG. That is not "luck" you don't "luck" your way 60 yards down the field.

You can try to make all the points you want, but you lose all credibility when you start speaking about things like this as luck. Even if ASU had made the field goal UGA could have still driven the field and scored. It makes you look petty to deride other teams success by labeling wins as "luck". Neither UGA or LSU has looked spectacular so far this season, but that can't diminish the accomplishments of both teams this decade.

Nevermind Greens hand was like 15 feet in the air.
Their record is the same as yours no matter how achieved. Their's will just be better at the end of the season as will ours.
eta: oops they have won more games than y'all

NJReb, would you rather be a lucky 3-0 or just an overrated, typical Ole Myth 2-1?

No, as I said, Houston Nutt has to ruin the season before his teams start playing well.
Others have commented on his failure to win when expectations are high and I think you just saw an example of that last Thursday.
His team was not ready to play mentally, especially his quarterback.
He is what he is, but that does not make either your team or LSU's better than ours is, certainly not "worlds" better.......and I think that will be obvious by the end of the season, not that it matters when our season will already have been ruined by then, no matter how many wins we turn in.....

Nahh..you're still the same mediocre Ole Miss, well except that one LUCKY win you had against UF last year..

Stifling defense, disciplined play, stingy with the ball.

He's an Ole Miss fan who lives in New Jersey-what a miserable life he must have. Looking petty is the least of his worries.

What are your thoughts on the Az State game?
It seems like Georgia plays up and down to their competition.

But Georgia will most likely win by two touchdowns.
This will be a tough game for us. Richt has had our number and we're playing in Athens. On the bright side for LSU, we've played a reasonable schedule so far (no Western Carolinas or Univ. North Texases), plus we've played two road games, including a season opener 2,500 miles from BR. Much better way for us to start the season than we did in 2008.
For us to win, we're going to have to have AA++ games from our standout players: LaFell, Peterson, Alem, Jones and Nevis, and maybe a jolt or two from Russell Sheppard, KW or Toliver. It's gonna be a tall order.
