I propose Harvey Updyke gets his own fishing show

In the Bible Belt, we are about forgiveness and redemption.

Now it'd be easy if we ever had to forgive the likes of Bill Dance or Roland Martin, because they are so likeable.

But the best display of Southern forgiveness is not to love those that are easy to love. It's to take those who are hurting, who have been provoked by cheaters into doing things they regret, and making them whole again.

This is why I will stop at nothing until I see to it that Harvey Updyke gets his own fishing show. And I need your help SECRANT.

Imagine waking up on a calm Saturday morning before the football talk gets going good on TV. Taking some coffee and a cigarette and watching ole Harvey speak calmly and politely while he and a television guest quietly pull in a few biguns. The birds whistling, the quiet "clunk" of the lure dropping into the lake, and hearing Harvey speak softly about who he really is. A great guy. Loves his mother and the south and God.

A rejuvenated spirit for all of America to see. A feel good story for our children to emulate. A righteous man not opposed to speaking openly about spewing lukewarm cheaters of his mouth, all while on a search for truth and righteousness.

Roland Martin had it easy because he had the looks of Gary Busey. Bill Dance had it easy because Steve Spurrier's father Shirley Spurrier pulled some strings for him.

Let's support those like ole Harvey who didn't have it easy. A fishing show is not too much to ask.
