I think that if LSU has the margin to lose one game, and it sets up so that a one-loss team can get in, they'll get a championship.
I'm not convinced Miles can't go undefeated but he just seems to have a hard time keeping it all together for the whole season... Sort of like when a kid learns to ride a bike, and when he realizes he's made it almost to the end of the driveway, he falls.

I haven't been able to understand why, if what I heard about Lee was true after the Alabama game, and he was benched for not going to class and stuff, why Miles didn't put Mettenberger in and let him get game experience after he knew games were put away.
I mean, in the Ole Miss game, he was taking a knee with 5 minutes left. Yes, he probably would have been criticized for running up the score, but that game experience is invaluable for someone who will likely be playing the next year. Or better yet, having an option for putting a QB in when your offense is stuck.

The only reason Mett played in the Northwestern game is because we were way up and JJ was still suspended. Once the anointed one was reinstated he became starter and JL became final snap guy. Mett looked very good when he was in, I think his 2nd or 3rd play was the TD pass. He has a great arm and looked very good on the field that night. He should have gotten more PT this year, IMO. Personally, I am so glad that the JJ/JL shite that we have been dealing with is over.

The ManBearPig is still one of my faves.

LSU should have another big year. Things look like Alabama should have a very good year. My prediction is that there will be a big party with a great deal of "Tiger Bait'n" when Bama comes down to BR. Hope it turns out to be a great game.

Seeing as how we're gonna be #1 starting the season, yeah.. It's a pretty big possibility that we won't live up to expectations. A sugar bowl appearance would be a let down
