Put your satisfaction in Jesus and not sports teams. Jesus never lets you down.

Niners???? Why don't you like the Saints? Are you not from Louisiana? I know it was tough being a Saints fan in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s but it's ok to admit it now.

You're a 49ers fan and LSU football/baseball fan... i'd say the recent past has been pretty generous to you...

Think about the other fans on this board.... the UGA/Falcons/Braves fans.... one championship in most of their lifetimes (provided they aren't 40).... or the Miss State/Saints fan.... one championship with none on the horizon.

Become a bandwagon fan. You can't ever be disappointed because you're favorite team is always winning.

I'm an A&M/ Houston sports fan. It's a fricking barrel of laughs. At the end of the day it's just sports

Yea, Im a Texans/Astros fan, but I grew up in Austin so I've always rooted for the Spurs. The Spurs have gotten me through the dark times.

I was pretty young when the Rockets went back to back so I've known mostly pain and suffering. Even the Rockets titles are considered "tainted" by the national media and everyone throws the Jordan qualifier in when mentioning them

Yea, I like the Rockets too (frick the mavs tho), but the last few seasons have been brutal. Making the playoffs was a nice surprise, but over all the Houston sports market has been tough. The Texans making a Superbowl could cure a lot of suffering though.

haha... yes... pretty rough 30 years or so. The astros did win the NL fairly recently, but that's about it.

It's probably the sports gods punishing you for being such a douchebag. I'm sure you're a Heat and Tiger Woods fan too so you can add those to your list as well.

It sucks that other fans of the teams you like have to suffer with you because of your actions, but at least there probably isn't anyone else on the planet with that exact combo of favorite teams.

hey, as an LSU fan, we've won a couple of National Titles within the last 10 years and won and competed for the SEC Championship a few times....its a good time to be an LSU fan

As for San Francisco, its a good time to be a 49ers fan! Harbaugh has taken them to the top of the NFC again...Playing and competing for championships is what its all about, win or lose. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose...

Imagine a Colorado fan right now....they haven't had a good team since 2001. They won the Big XII North in '05, but got blown out by Texas 70-3!!

Or take a look at Kentucky football...
