Should CFB use a European dual league

If he are going to kill college football might as well make it standout in US sports.

Reminds me of when a friend and fan from the UK asked, 'well can we not drop down to another league for a season to rebuild?' Poor guy got hammered by others who didn't really understand that to him it was a harmless question but it's an interesting system. Teams go up and down and it allows fans to enjoy a rebuilding season because they're playing against teams on the same footing.

I don't think pride would ever allow Americans to sign up for something like this because there have been times when every top team would've been assigned the lower league for at least a season.

I would actually like to see something along those lines provided that football could be split off from the rest of the sports to include football playing in an entirely different division than the rest of a school's programs.

120 teams with 60 in each league. If we are going to kill CFB as we know it might as well play to the fans and stand out from the NFL.

I don't really understand why so many feel that CFB always needs to change in one random aspect or the next. There's a consistent them of dissatisfaction in CFB and it's kind of becoming annoying.

It's a much fairer system but we don't want fair. College football has kept an inherently unfair system in place for ages for various reasons. Some of them make sense but some of them don't. With the changes that we are undergoing and the destruction of regional identity and rivalries I'm more inclined to support something like this or at least a big change.

Regional identity and rivalry were good reasons to override the problem of schedules being inherently unfair but those reasons may soon be off the table. We'll see what emerges from all this. Once we do then maybe we can think about how things ought to be structured.

Anything proposed by Danny Kannell should be shot down immediately. The man has the IQ of a shovel.

Lol it ain't pride that's stopping it. It's money. Will never happen
