He's an above average coach. I never understood the love affair. Yes, he was better than what they had and what they have now, but that's a low bar.

I agree. The obsession that a lot of our fans have with Will Wade is weird. With how they talk about him, you would think the admin fired Red Auerbach, or something.
The truth is he was a decent coach, and did not do well enough to be worth keeping around with the cloud that was hovering over our program.
