So Sumrall, Brohm, Key are probably the most realistic sitting head coaches.
Maybe Dillingham.
one of those is who I expect and maybe add Golesh but I expect to see him at Florida
Silverfield might be good as well

Overpay for Freeman, fire him in four years.
It’s what we do

surely you don’t believe you could actually pull freeman. get a grip man.

There's a whole nother board for these kinds of questions

Baaaaahahahahaha. Good one.
We do exist.

There are no reasonable fans of any SEC Team on tSECr

But the Florida fanbase already guaranteed that Kiffin will be their HC.
Kiffin will be setting a new CFB precedent by head coaching three schools next season, LSU, Florida and Ole Miss.
Whichever has the best record/ranking during conference championship week will get Kiffin's undivided attention for the rest of the year.

I don't think getting a big name is nearly as important as the last cycle. It will be more about fit and passion.
Yeah, I'm leaning this way too. I want someone that wants to be here, works hard, CARES and is hungry to win. Everything else will work itself out.

unlikely but not impossible as there are some existing relationships in play 10-15% chance.
Kiffin you’re a little less than a coin flip to get but he’s going to get a call and a generous offer
idk what to make of the Heupel stuff, if he’s gettable then get him
after that I would say Dillingham, that he went to ASU makes it harder but is not disqualifying. not sure what the vetting on him would turn up.
pass on Key and Drink.
Kelvin Sheppard is my backstop option.

wow, i fear you might want to recalibrate your expectations if you believe that.

He'd be my pick.
If you're taking a chance on someone, he's as good of a candidate as anyone else IMO.
At least he knows the program vs someone like Will Stein.

i have more sources at LSU than you do lol, most of what i just told you was fact not opinion.

i will bet you literally any sum of money marcus freeman is not lsu’s coach.

i said unlikely but not impossible, 10-15% chance and there are previous relationships in play.
i’m sorry if that hurts your feelings but that’s the truth.

i would personally disregard any source gullible enough to believe there is even a chance in hell of that happening personally. whether lsu’s boosters want him is not even a factor in the odds. gimme a break, lol.
might be time to set some more reasonable expectations. think frank wilson or jimbo.

I think the guy at North Texas has done a great job.
LSU simply needs stability to be successful. Great recruiting base, only flagship university, decent amount of money for NIL.
I’d like to see a younger coach who is willing to sleep on his office couch three or four nights a week in order to build something special.

I’m thinking Dillingham at this point.
But what the hell do I know? I honestly thought both Mullen and Napier were good HC picks for the Gators.
