Seems the defining trait of Jimbo's teams were lack of accountability.
I am guessing, he was probably victimized by the lord of the flies culture after missing a chip shot in the App State game. You can see the miss at the link below.

Jimbo really having no control over the team probably meant he probably got what he deserved and then much much more without a coaching staff there to remind them that you win and you lose as a team.
Hopefully the new staff has put and end to that bs.

One look at LSU's 247 overall composite talent ranking vs the product that they put on the field on defense last year tells me they also have a bit of a culture and lockeroom problem under BK. Absolutely zero excuses for that performance last year from them.
