I'm not writing off this UK team just yet. What happened re:Evansville was a classic instance of a Calipari team with 5 18 year olds. It pains me, but they will inevitably turn it around in time for conference play.
I haven't watched any other SEC teams besides VOLS, LSU and the Wildcats so far this szn. LSU still looks strong. VOLS look alright- the B unit from last year is taking charge (Fulky, Pons, Bowden)

Missouri
LSU
The next month or so of basketball should be interesting. UK and UF have been very sluggish early and we are still learning about the AU/VOLS/LSU tier since all 3 teams lost so much. AU has looked very good at times but they are a little lucky to be 4-0. LSU will probably be fine but they aren't really testing themselves again in the non league so it will be tough to slot them in to the league going in to league play. VOLS have an absolute gauntlet starting tomorrow so we should get an answer on them in the next 45 days. Arkansas has been extremely impressive early and Ole Miss is going to be a damn good basketball team too.
South Carolina, Mizzou and Miss State are all tourney quality teams in all likelihood as well but I doubt all will actually make it.
I'm selling UGA pretty hard but Edwards is probably the best player in the league.
Bama is dangerous against quality competition with Lewis and Petty but they are very flawed.
A&M is bad and Vandy is still putrid.

Too early to tell....look, just stop the stupid shite for a minute and discuss the SEC basketball season based on things, so far. Here is my take and if anyone doesn't like it, go eat a shite sandwich....
AU is good, has potential but its still to be determined as to just how good....I see a something along the line of 24-11 season with PG being our bugaboo
KY could be a disappointment as far as whats expected at Kentucky, but they are talented and will improve as the season goes on....I do not see them winning the SEC
LSU is more talented than I expected but the NCAA stuff will surface and cause more damage than opponents will
Alabama is probably a below .500 team during conference play....they are not as bad as they look right now....they ain't great but Oates is a good coach and will get them better as the year goes on....not a tourney team though
Tennessee is surprisingly good with what they lost....i didn't expect that and i suspect that they just might be the conference regular season champ this year....very good guard play

For any AU fan to turn on Bruce and two SECC’s and a final four after the decade plus of purgatory we’ve experienced
