Kelly is not throwing passes
He fricked up by promoting Sloan but thought it was worth it if he could keep him there because of what he did at QB. Backfired. Sloan won’t be calling plays next year.
He is not performing nearly poor enough to warrant a 70 million dollar buyout you dumbass.

This is a huge part of it. Firing 9 win coaches is what turned most of the sport against Nebraska.
Also there is a political element to this. LSU is THE only big program in the state, and state politicians cannot stay away from the program.
Even though its not the university's money, if someone is given a $60 million payout social media in the state will explode with "that could have hired so many nurses, teachers, etc." It will become a political liability which means its a problem LSU the university cares about.
Frankly no one in Texas gives a shite what A&M spends its money on. We aren't the program in the state that gets that sort of attention.
