1. So was everyone else in the SWC. But the per capita comparison is seriously flawed. If our top athletes only make up .0001% of our population, that's 2,600 athletes. For Louisiana, that's only 460. Louisiana has some very talented players. We know. We recruit the frick out of your state, but Louisiana has to have .0005% (5X as many per capita) to even get close. You are trying to prove that the State of Louisiana has more available talent for LSU than the State of Texas has for A&M, which is demonstrably false.

The point fails for that very reason. We can only sign 25. There are a bunch more available recruits in Texas. In the hypothetical, A&M has a shot at 25 out of 2600 v. LSU's 25 of 460. Certainly, other factors such as surrounding competition should be factored in, but that was not his position.
