That video is pretty pathetic.
I really think they claim the 1941 title just because it's another number to add. That's all that really matters.

That's basically what the SID who took over right after Bryant died said. He's the one who went back and added pre-Bryant titles

1941 is not a legit title IMHO. The rest are defensible, especially the nine AP titles. As for 1966, every great program can point to one year when they got screwed, and there are no makeups for later years.

Dude, Bama would claim a championship if they were voted number 1 in any poll. They will claim they were not beat they beat themselves. They will claim and cheat in every way possible to make sure that number on the "promo" helment goes up. I am surprise they did not claim 2 national championships last year. Hell, they try to claim an SEC championship from last year in their media guide. h

I consider real football as starting in the 90's everything before that was just silly and completely political. Of course I started watching football in the 90's.
