It really doesn't matter though.
ESPN just made Malzahn look reeeaaally bad on national tv.
Someone on the ESPN staff was smart enough to remember what Malzahn said at Media Days about being against players faking injuries...and then they showed an AU player faking an injury.
It really doesn't matter what any of us on the Rant with all of our biases think...
To the casual fan and to a National TV Audience, ESPN made Malzahn look like a liar and a hypocrite.
It was all there.
Again...doesn't matter what any of us say here...they showed Malzahn saying A and doing B.
His reputation just took a very bad hit on a national level.
If this was Saban, AU and LSU fans would be all over it.

Well, He just lost the war over faking injuries.
Just wait til Bama does it multiple times to get the correct personnel on the field.
It's not against the rules but aubren fans will cry cheat, cheat, cheat.
It's OK for them to do it though. They just opened the flood gates.

I suspect that's more Johnson that Gus and I don't think that'll happen again. Gus has not been a fan of faking injuries.

I never respected him in the first place.
Watched his act too long here in Arkansas.
Aubie will see it some day.
Folks at OM called us crazy for warning them about Nutt, too.

SURELY it will make the Top Ten Plays segment. It ought too, lol.
Beginning where he gets up, walks about 20 steps, stands there and looks at the sideline for about 20 seconds and then 'collapses'.

What was your respect level for Petrino?

Apparently he is since he is pulling all respect he had for Gus on a message board. It will be devastating of course, but hopefully Gus will be okay.

shite was pretty bush league for real and I didn't really see the point. Your thread is pretty reactionary though.
We will see that replay on the not top ten though

BITCH go home, you're drunk.
Bama doesn't have to perform gimmicks. We just beat the opponent down like an overspendind wife.
Get ready, LSU and AU, We gonna beat the hell outta you....like we are slapping women for overcooking the bacon. slap slap.
oh and to my post....

Thought he was an a-hole, personality wise, but I respected him for the job he was doing.
Lost what respect I had when he lied about the motorcycle incident.

At leat Saban didn't claim he'd never fake an injury to gain an advantage.
Gus forgot college football is much more scrutinized than the high school football he's accustomed too.
I can see the headlines now....Gus Malzahn the hypocritical liar. The sad part is he had a dominating lead.
What will he try when he's in a close game, or God forbid getting his arse handed to him?
