Probably 90% of this board only follows football. Your argument is most likely falling on deaf ears.

Mizzou wasn't even the worst team in the SEC in football. They had injuries and still competed with the exception of USCe, Bama, A&M, and 4th qtr of UGA game. Only 3 teams manhandled/dominated Mizzou from start to finish.

I can see if they didn't win a conference game in football and got blown out in every game.

Once you guys start winning at the big sports, we'll probably slack off on you. Arky didn't stop getting grief until Petrino arrived.

What's funny about that is the fact that Arkansas has done better than the Mississippi Schools, Vandy, South Carolina and Kentucky in SEC football.

I'd say UT but Tenn won the BCS in 98'. Other than that Arkansas has been the better program.

Winning the NCAA basketball NC back in 92 didn't ease the original SEC member fans' regret for take Arky. It wasn't until Petrino that SEC fans truly considered Arky a deserving member of the conference. So to your point, Mizzou needs to start winning at football, because basketball may not be enough.

Arkansas never really consistently competed in the SEC west. They had good years, and went to the SECCG a time or two, but they always seemed to sink back down the following years. It wasn't until Petrino that the actually earned the respect for having a consistently good program. Being better than the Mississippi Schools, Vandy, South Carolina and Kentucky in SEC football didn't cut it, and it won't cut it for you guys. Until you either win the SEC, or put together a string of 10+ win seasons, you will be looked down on to an extent be the other SEC fans.

South Carolina had a winning record against Arkansas until Petrino arrived ... and he owned us.

Did Arkansas have some better records early in the process? Yes they did but they also played in the far weaker division for the first decade of the last expansion.

South Carolina was competing against, and getting curb-stomped by, Florida, Tennessee (the two dominant programs in the Conference in the 90s except for '92), and Georgia. In addition, we were unluckily drawing the best from the West during their best years ... Auburn's best years, we played them. Bama's best years in the 90s, we played them. LSU, same thing and even MSU and Arkansas went to Atlanta in the 90s and, you guessed it, we played them in those years.

So your premise is basically contrived from ignorance of the facts and therefore was doomed to be incorrect, although I can see how you might arrive at that limited conclusion, I'd also recommend you just worry about surviving for the next decade and try not to talk too much shite about shite you don't know shite about.

Oh, and ....

Arkansas was 10-6 against South Carolina before Petrino arrived.

Kind of like South Carolina now?

Oh and the best part about all of this is that bayou2003 is an LSU fan.

Really? I did not know that. I guess Nutt owned Holtz too huh?

Yeah, kind of like that. And just think, right when the series is about to get evened-up with a long time arse kicking coming for years to come ... y'all get Mizzou instead. Crazy how that shite keeps working in Arkie's favor? Meanwhile, SC will, no doubt, end up playing at A&M next season.

And that's fine, no problems. No one is complaining. But it is par for the course.

I saw the Mizzou paw avatar - didn't see the username. dgaf either. It's late, we lost to Vandy tonight, I had too much to drink, my wife is being pissy because I got home late, dog threw-up on the front porch, I got a steroid shot in my shoulder today and fluid drained off my knee and ankle this morning ... and I dgaf if the sun don't shine in the morning. I dgaf.

Lat,

We were at VIP last weekend when it was sunny and 70 degrees. The lake was like glass. Took a boat ride to big cedar lodge to eat lunch. Beautiful.

You picked a shitty weekend to be on the point.

No. SC has never had a winning record against Ark. and you have been flat out dominated the last 12 years. What makes it seem even more lopsided is the fact that when we do beat you the score is usually embarrassing.

We've got an old trophy we're not using that could probably find a spot.

You really can’t be serious bringing that up. You can tell the level of a program when their fans point to a win over a team without a coaching staff playing in a game a team didn't want to be at. But, I guess that's all you have.

Congratulations on such an impressive win. I'm sure Utah Fans still revel in their win over Bama a few years ago. Obviously, that has everything to do with the current state of affairs, doesn’t it?

Congrats on the anger, but that picture is of the trophy for the Mizzou/kansas Border War. Was kind of a compliment.

If I was going to bring massacre that up, I'd have posted a pic of the Cotton Bowl scoreboard.

Anger? I'm just laughing at a stupid Missouri Fan using that game as some sort of benchmark. But like I posted earlier, I suppose that's apparently the best you have.
