LSU should suck it up and write the checks. There is ego behind the LSU actions that needs to be checked.

And firms like Skadden have tons of folks to write tons of motions that LSU will have to pay retained counsel to answer.

No need to worry about the fee. Governor Jeff Landry will handle it himself. He will charge LSU a reduced fee. Plus, President Trump is picking our next coach. How could any coach say no to him?

But but Matt Moscona says LSU has dirt on BK for 3 different instances...2 personal and 1 professional.

Literally just listened to this and that’s not close to the context he wss implying. He said if LSU were to attempt ‘for cause’ firing, from what he’s heard in conversations, there were 3 instances that had the most traction, yet he didn’t really believe any of them likely hold enough water to win.

The boosters caused that issue, not Auburn as an institution.

This is a distinction without a difference.

Wow

Who would have thought the governors rant two weeks back would be trumped by LSU.

BK is a high dollar CFB Coach and his reputation is a very valuable asset and LSU will be smart to lay off with the personal reputation "for cause" stuff.
Oh, so now you're defending his reputation?

Oh, it is going to get checked. They are making one of the best jobs in the country not so attractive with their (and their governor's) theatrics.

Time to just pop the popcorn and watch the show.

When I saw LSU posters talking about a negotiated settlement downwards, I assumed their administration was not as dumb as their fans.

And here we are.

No school has ever won a “termination for cause” lawsuit

He ain't never tried one in a Louisiana court in front of jury full of LSU fans.

Don't know, but Kelly appear to be the type of person that hold grudges like a pit bull.

Perhaps if he coached like that, he'd still be the coach.
