LOL. You had a totally opposite take on the first game.

No I didn't.

In fact, I'm 100% admitting what Oklahoma fans refused to admit.

Except, "That's football" says otherwise.

And this OU fan is not afraid to say Alabama won this game because they made the plays they needed to make to take advantage of Oklahoma's turnovers and poor decisions. Congratulations on a great win.

you mean when Mateer made a very good throw on the run and if his WR made a routine catch it was a TD?

There were two plays, if there hadn’t been epic errors, OU likely wins the game. But there were. No point in being a bitch and pouting about it.

I love being the underdog in games.

Teams that have averaged 14 rushing yards per game in the two games leading up to a game typically are the underdog.

Why are you so determined to demonstrate you have no real understanding of football?

I said "that's football" before as well.

It's not complicated, when it comes to the scoreboard and things, that's all that matters, congrats and good game - that's football. But if you wanted to take a look at things beyond the scoreboard, then things like yards and such matter.

If we were for some reason to look at that game as an indicator of how Oklahoma would do in a future game, we'd say things like your offense looked much better overall etc.

You guys cried because I wouldn't give you more than win.

An Alabama fan trying to convince themself and others that running the football is overrated and really doesn't matter that much if you stop and think about it. Glad that I'm not in your shoes, man! That doesn't sound like a very fun fan existence.

He shook it off and played very well in the second half, but Bama had all the momentum by then.

So you're asserting that if they made this a successful play then Oklahoma wins it? What are you saying here?

Most people understand the stat you are quoting is rushing yards and sacks.

And some people might be able to go even further and understand balance isn't about rushing and passing, it's about attacking different parts of the field in order to keep the defense honest and having them defend the entire field. Thus the concept of some passes being an extension of the running game.

Hope is a hell of a drug, man.

It allows you to believe all sorts of things, like 28 rushing yards in the last 2 games is balance.

Ok, but it's just basic knowledge that quick passes are an extension of the running game. Alabama's strategy relies only on running it enough to keep the defense honest.

Alabama played the 4th toughest schedule in college football without a traditional running game, so it must be getting made up in some other manner.

I don't give a shite about the hope crap, Georgia fans getting trolled by SEC Shorts isn't my concern.
