I believe the old rules grant bowl teams extra practice. I wonder if they lose that. Jimbo used to say, he wanted the extra time with the players.

I would love to see us win it all, but I think everyone in the whole country would applaud and celebrate Indiana

longhorns posters doing a good job of having a stiff upper lip as they watch OU, Tech, and Aggies all selected for the CFP to compete for the national championship.

We all know that inside they are so green with envy they are about to bust!

Tech is the only one with a shot of making the semis and I don’t really have a high opinion of them. Texas is maybe the best team out of all them and we’re at home. So yeah, it does suck.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how little whining the fan base on this site, overall, has been doing after being left out of the playoffs, which is the right call in my not entirely unbiased opinion. Kudos to them for that.

No doubt, y’all stuck it to us pretty good!

My statement was in jest… Arch tremendously improved throughout the year.

And, I’ve got to believe he’ll get in a room with his superbowl winning uncles over the summer to review tape. I suspect he’ll be a monster next year.

We are disappointed, but it has nothing to do with the teams we beat, convincingly.

Florida can crow the loudest, and Georgia was the better team, again, so they don't need to crow.

Texas has double digit wins over their 3 rivals in back to back years for the first time in 50 years. That smile will last for a while.

It would be silly of me to not acknowledge there are those of us that do feel this way.

But as for myself, no envy. Just some lingering annoyance about how uneven this team was this season.

Beating very good versions of OU-A&M is something to take pride in. But of course that is not enough, and we had our chances but failed.

It’s OK. Next year man.

BTW, and I mean this with all sincerity, beat the ever living shite out of Miami.

Until they get rid of automatic bids to conference champs, there will always be more deserving teams left out of the dance.

Green with envy would be watching you guys get to the national championship. I personally do not see that happening with Ohio State in front of you guys as well as Alabama and Indian in front of OU.

If either do make it that far, congrats.

I don’t ever feel envious about that team in Lubbock.
