IIRC almost every year a 12 seed upsets a 5 seed. Its almost a guaranteed "cinderella". You all drew that straw I guess, since the other 5 seeds are Auburn, Wisconsin, and Marquette.
A couple years back Steve F Austin was "the" upset pick. Media does what it does

In the past twenty years, 12s have won 3 games as many times as they have won none. That being four each. In the other 12 years they have won 1 five times and 2 seven times.

The only 12-5 win will be oregon over Wisconsin so go fix your brackets

Yea I picked Oregon also, on the theory that they didn’t suddenly forget how to play basketball on the west coast and Oregon won the tourney.

They all pick 12-5 upsets just because when it happens they can pound their chest and say I told you so

First ESPN and then some dude on CBS. Is Liberty good or something? Why are people picking them to beat us in the first round?

Beats me.

Just my opinion but Liberty seems like the weakest of the 12 seeds.
