John Currie probably just turned off his phone. I'm hoping he has some ninja move left. Otherwise, the couches of Knoxville are in grave danger.

When you get turned down by the HC at Iowa State, what options do you have left?

Hopefully nothing has been signed yet.

THERE IS NOTHING STRONGER THAN THE HEART OF A VOLUNTEER BY GOD

Dont blame them. What a horrible, disgraceful hire it would be.
Get Cutcliffe before thst loser. He at least has class and is a leader of men.

All my buddies with season tickets have told me they're not going to continue to make their necessary donations and/or continue to buy season tickets if the Vols hire a dud like Schiano. I honestly don't blame them. It costs way too much money to continue to support an athletic department that isn't showing its commitment to winning.
You would think that after Mike Hamilton and Dave Hart that the University would "get it" but they clearly don't. Maybe with all the money the SEC has been getting from ESPN has clouded their reality that for a healthy University, the football program can't continue to suck. All that money they're getting is going to be offset when donations stop rolling in.

3 different elected officials have gone public saying they will not allow Schiano to happen under their watch

The coach at Memphis, the coach of Purdue, the coach at Austin Peay, there's this guy that coaches a high school in Knoxville that's always good. Hell offer almost anyone else

It really is impressive.

My jab at Vol fans who always talk about what a great job Tennessee is was obviously waaaay over your head. You're still new to the SEC...it's to be expected.

I saw one quote from a state legislator...who were the other two?
And why do they think they have the power to stop it?
