UF lost 4 games last year with the MOD 7 points or less: Alabama 31 Florida 29 Kentucky 20 Florida 13 LSU 49 Florida 42 Missouri 24 Florida 23
Losing by one score against Kentucky, Missouri and a shite LSU team probably shouldn't give you that much confidence in the roster.
That's like bragging about losing by one score to San Diego state

The only way Florida wins is if they are able to keep it close in the first half, and the humidity stifles Utah in the second half.
Utah is the better team, but going from 30-50% RH to 80-90% RH is just something you cannot prepare for. Even if the game is at night.

Utah has little linemen and lesser athletes, they are a paper lion. The only chance they have to win is if the team hasn't completely gelled yet with the new staff, I wouldn't count on it though.

They are a good Pac 12 team, so what? Gators outlast the Utes, score late and win by 10.

"So what?" indeed. They played Ohio state's skeleton crew in the Rose Bowl and still lost. They're in for a rude awakening Saturday, and I'm pretty sure even the dweebs "picking" Utah know this.

Where is this vaunted Florida defense you're talking about going to come from?

They return alot of guys from a really good team. Including a really talented QB. They looked pretty good in both games against Oregon and Ohio st last yr.
I think their legit top 15. Maybe better.

The superior athletes who are no longer being poorly coached.

Again... why do we think UF this year is any good?
They have several ULL transfers starting, including at RB and OL (possibly 2 spots, at least 1). They have 5-stars that frankly haven't been that good at UF after failing at their first school (Cox, Shorter, Lingaard). They lost their best WR to transfer. Their QB has 6 TD's to 5 INT's and a completion percentage below 60%. That doesn't jump out at me as a super talented roster.
I mean the reality is I see one gamechanger on their roster... Gervon Dexter. Why exactly are we expecting more from UF than a team like Missouri or Mississippi State?

The dweebs you speak of are mainly from UG and lsu. They suffer from Gator Derangement Syndrome. Gators living in their heads, 24/7.

While I'm sure florida has better athletes by headcount, you're aware that Utah has been super successful in the "transfer game" years before there was a transfer portal....right?

Why do you think UF is comparable to OSU when looking at who Utah played. I think a more comparable team would be maybe UCLA (who Utah beat 44-24) or USC (who Utah beat 42-26). Both had more talent than Utah... but it was talent that never showed itself on the field. Guys like UF's 5-star RB who's behind a ULL transfer on the depth chart.

Totally. That's why they took dogshit Diabate off our hands and he's starting this Saturday.

Was he one of those poorly coached players?
They've gotten some good transfers from us in the past as well. Don't know how they do it but they've been more successful playing the transfer game more than any team in the country.

I think this is a very tough game for Florida.

This cannot be overstated. Todd Grantham was a special kind of awful. Teams like South Carolina had no business running us off the field like they did the last yr.

I think it turns into a massive shootout. Took the over for point total
