Dick Vitale was okay when I was younger than 7. He’s terrible and needs to go away quietly.

He went from tolerable to annoying when he leaned way too hard into his "Dicky V" persona.
I think he has progressively gotten even worse over the years.

I played in the 3 on 3 Hoop it up tourneys years ago and Dickie V showed up on our court one day in a golf cart. He was being driven around like visiting royalty.
I walked his way and in my best Dickie V voice said, "Dickie V! Dickie V! Get the frick off our court!
