With the way it's spreading currently, things aren't looking great for our great country, and the people that will suffer don't deserve it. The fact that people are still going on cruises and still traveled to Italy after the outbreak happened there is frustrating. (Both of these have resulted in new infections on our soil)

You can’t live your life in fear. It’s not a big deal, it’s not like some pandemic that has a 50% mortality rate. And I had both West Nile and the Swine Flu when they were the big scary sickness. I’m still kicking

Do people here actually believe the virus is a conspiracy, or is that some kind of joke here? Seems like it's a Trump thing, but I really can't tell. Are people actually that dumb?

There's a big difference between living in fear and giving up some luxuries to save many lives.

I'm sure you'd be fine if you got this too. I would be fine too. Most of the people on this site would be fine.

There are enough people that won't be fine that makes me concerned.

To be clear, I don't think it will or should be every game that is affected, but any game held in a big metro environment where teams are traveling... I think that's a bad situation waiting to happen.

I doubt it's a conspiracy but there is legitimate concern Coronavirus could have accidentally escaped from a Chinese Biological Weapons lab. Coronavirus is a brand new virus with unusual characteristics - it could have been in the process of being modified when it was accidentally released.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think there are giant Government-Run Biological Weapons Laboratories all over the world.

Oh, I was referring to the posters implying that coronavirus isn't real and is made up by the media.

Not sure I buy the weapons lab angle, but I do buy that the Chinese-equivalent of the CDC is responsible for it escaping. Didn't they have a lab right near the epicenter of the first outbreak? Also heard a rumor they may have sold dead lab animals to street vendors. Yuck.

No way that a greedy azz ,money chasing outfit like the NCAA is gonna play those games in empty arenas

They'll come up with "a plan" that will create the idea that they care about something other than lining their pockets, but it'll be some hokey azz crap that serves to minimize "legal liability" while the NCAA can chase every dollar available

Local Cities bid to host those Tourney Games and make a sizeable investment to host those Games, the NCAA isn't gonna want to piss off their partners in crime when it comes to cashing in on the amateur model

I think the Tourney is taking place early enough to be ahead of the curve, so to speak.

At the rate of what's happening in Italy, probably not

If there’s anything we know about the NCAA it’s that they have lower ethical standards than Hamas. There is zero percent chance they sacrifice any $ from tickets. Bring on the Black Plague.
