For those actually interested it sounds like a sprained wrist on Burrow's throwing arm. Reports that he heard a pop. Lots of swelling in his throwing hand.
Burrow left the game because he couldn't grip the ball well enough to throw. When he would start to push the ball forward, the ball would just fall out of his grip.
It definitely doesn't seem like something that will heal by next weekend.
Heat his wrist up to about 1350-1400 degrees, mix in a little bit of sand and some old glass soda bottles or beer bottles, remold it, and his wrist will be like brand new.

Burro is holding back the Dolphins, Eagles, and Patriots? That 'ole bawd has some influence.

Bengals just announced Burrow is done for the season. Torn ligament in his throwing wrist.
Burrow landed on the wrist on the play prior to the TD pass to Mixon. Then felt a pop when he made the pass.
Sucks for the guy, and for the team, but with all the inexperience on defense, the Bengals weren't going to make a deep run this year anyway.

They’d be a Super Bowl lock if the had a QB who could stay healthy.
And if the Mahomes and Andy Reid had a heart attack. And they could beat the Ravens.

The Burrow led Bengals are 3-1 against the Mahomes led Chiefs, and beat the Ravens twice in a row last year on their way to AFC Championship.

They were 1-4 vs the AFC heading into last night's matchup anyway. Now 1-5, so they weren't even making the playoffs before Burrow got hurt. Not sure what anyone was realistically expecting out of them this year.

Probably right. Lost way too much from the secondary in the offseason, and as discussed in prior posts, not deep enough on DL, or in secondary to survive the brutal schedule.

LSU fan crying about anything. Shocking.

Only real weak link on o-line this year is Cordell Volson. But he is a very weak link.
That dude sucks. He's going to get Burrow killed.

Bengals need to replace Volson, get rid of Nick Scott, add another starting caliber CB and a solid depth piece at S, and get 2 more solid pass rushers, either by developing Ossai and Murphy over the rest of this season, or adding an established vet.
And draft a solid RB next year to start transitioning from Mixon.

Agree 100%. Volson experiment is over. He can't be developed to play at an NFL level. The team tried, some guys just don't translate to NFL.

Heard they about to bring big dog AJ MacdaddyMcCarron up

I would bet AJ will be starting over browning. AJ just won XFL MVP with St. Louis and had a really great year and has stayed in shape. I expect him to get elevated from practice squad to roster in the next day or so.

As a lifelong Bengals fan who has loved the last few seasons with Burrow, this just ain't thr Bengals' year.
Burrow too banged up, WRs too banged up, but more improtantly the d-line and Secondary are way too thin. Both SB worthy units when the starters are all healthy, but the backups are liabilities.
With as tough as the Bengals schedule is, and as absurdly stacked as the AFCN is, it just ain't gonna happen this year. Need more depth to survive a full season in that division.
Was it targeting ?
