I wanted Kiffin at Arkansas but in hindsight I'm glad it worked out with us getting Sam, especially after Lane laying an egg on recruiting a week or so ago

I also like Mike Leach and I think he will get some converts politically from the conservative African American community in Mississippi. But it only takes one or two whiners to cause major trouble, and that's probably coming sooner rather than later

But hell the quicker Leach gets fired then that's the sooner I can vote for him for Congress so to that's a win win

I hate it for the state of Mississippi football wise

Im no expert but I think I'm right on this one

If the fine folks of Mississippi can rediscover their love of literature, that would be an iron in the fire already on something to do to avoid depression when the bad times hit

I think as long as Cohen keeps Leach from spewing his politics publicly they won't become a problem. I would imagine SEC-caliber athletes understand they are going to have teammates and coaches all over the political spectrum and know how to put those differences aside.

I don't want any of our coaches spewing controversial political opinions - regardless if they lean right or left - on social media though. Universities need to be above all of the political riff-raff. (Aside from shitty local politics that directly impact the university and its mission, of course)

Likely that one will be run off for not beating the other, very unlikely both Mississippi schools can be good at the same time.

Leach didn't lay an egg. He had what, two weeks to get a class together? Give the guy a chance and see what he can do. It'll be fun watching him even if he doesn't win.

Yep, we do... We knew CBB was crap, we knew Chard would suck and we knew Petrino was an incredible hire that would bite us in the arse before it ended.

Now, the BOT and PTB... well, they were fricking clueless. But what makes us such professionals in knowing a great coach??? you ask....

Damn Son, look at the past several and realize.... DO THE OPPOSITE!

I agree, Kiffin’s recruiting success in the past was all Ed Orgeron. And Mike leach was trending downward at Washington State, also his offense is super simplistic.

Considering the last few hires Arkansas has made, I would bet they will be leaps and bounds better than those
