Kentucky was never part of Dixie. So technically we've never been just "The Boys from Dixie"

As an Okie living in Kansas City...OK and Tx fit in a lot better than Mizzou. If not just for the accents alone.

I don't like it, as well.
Both Universities have much to prove in Basketball and Football.
