This seems like the most appropriate place to post this ATM.

That starting CB was Marcus Temple and he was fricking terrible. His replacement is better.
i will take your word for that since I don't know really. I just assumed since he started and did break up a long pass attempt he would be missed.
I do think the Dorsey kid being out takes away from a d line that couldn't afford any losses.

Dorsey is hit or miss, but still important and a major loss. Temple gives up TDs and gets burned like its his job

The CB's who played behind Temple may be better early, but without the extra bodies to give them some rest, they're going to get tired chasing Adams, Wright, Childs, Hamilton, and company. I'm also hoping Brassel plays both ways again so that he's tired and less effective on O in the second half.

No way brassel plays 60 again. If so he will get burnt in 2nd half

I fully expect Ark to beat the ever living shite out of Ole Miss. I would be suprised if Ark didn't win by 30+ points. My guess on the score would be 48-13. IMO the line should've been around 24pts
I'd bet Ark will want to (will do so if given the chance) run it up on the Nutter.

Arkansas should be a 3 TD favorite
But
Arkansas still needs to prove they can stop the run and prove they can run the ball consistently.
I could see Ark building a lead then sitting on it and winning by 10-17 points which would be my only concern betting on this game.

Who are Temple and Dorsey's backups?

The only thing I can think of is BP won't run the score up if he gets the chance. He'll work on the running game as soon as he gets the chance.

Temple' backups are either Senquez Golson or Wesley Pendleton. Idk about Dorsey, maybe move CJ Johnson to DE again.

Strictly facts from an Arkansas fan:
1. In 2009, these two teams were equal. The only difference in their records (9-4 vs. 8-5) was this game. Ole Miss kicked the crap out of Arkansas on the field in Oxford that day. Worst game I've ever seen us play under BP.
2. In 2010, we were a 10 wins BCS bowl team. Ole Miss lost to JSU and Vandy at home on way to a 4 win season. The game was in Fayetteville. Despite that, Ole Miss twice had the ball with a chance to tie in the 4th quarter.
3. Arkansas is bad coming off bye weeks/time off. In 2009, it was the UGA game and the Liberty Bowl. In 2010, it was the A&M game and the Sugar Bowl.
People will give excuses for #1 (coming off UF loss) and #2 (the weather delays). If we play poorly this year, I've already given you the excuse/reason (#3).
At least the above three reasons are why I'm hesitant to load up on the Hogs this week.

The bye week effect is probably in play here as well; Arkansas (and Louisville before us) does not play as well offensively when coming off a bye as they usually do. If that lowers the edge off of our scoring potential, it will also act as a cap on the line of a one-sided game.
