In 1961 Alabama won the mnc with LSU finishing 3rd. I have often wondered who would have won if they had played. Glad we get to settle this one on the field.

I have had a great time in Tuscaloosa each time I have been there for a game. I went on road trips there in '05, '07, and '09.

Saban really doesn't eat too many Little Debbie snack cakes. He knows how to make himself quit. That's actually the name of his Latino housekeeper he pleasures from 11:47 p.m. to 12:23 a.m. every night after making Terry quit from 11:30 to 11:46 spot on.

I lived in Tuscaloosa for a number of years (including 92 when they won the NC). Always enjoyed the atmosphere on campus before big games - took my granddaughter to a bonfire before some game (don't remember which one) - really great atmosphere.

Alabama fans are the most literate and knowledgeable football fans I have encountered in person or on message boards. They know their shite. And I appreciate the fact that they seem to know the history and tradition of every team in the conference unlike the fans of most other teams. Passionate fans.

Trent Richardson is legit and Alabama has a great defense. These are EASILY the top 2 teams in the nation. They should cancel the season and play a best of 7 series to decide the national championship.
