In Indiana's glorious and unparalleled season they battlled against a 2 loss Miami team and won.

Didn't LSU struggle against a 2 loss Alabama team on the cusp of covid in 2019 ?

Indiania's 16 - 0 season is much more impressive !

Congratulations Hoosiers on having the best team ever !

That 95 Huskers team won every game by 14 points or more.
Beat 4 teams that finished in the top 10.
Defeated Florida 62-24 in the Orange Bowl to win the NC.
Averaged 53.2 points per game.
Allowed ZERO sacks all year.
Man I still hate Nebraska.

Like LSU they had one of the greatest SEASONS in CFB history and they join a very small list. I think we then look at who they played, roster talent and how that translates in the NFL, degree of difficulty, tough road games, margin of victory, scoring prowess etc.

But Indiana was THE shite this year and the most fun CFB ride since LSU 2019 for sure.

Agreed.. in fact we really need to quit arguing about which team is better and start arguing about which one would have a better chance of beating the worst team in the NFL.

Respectfully the fact that the national champion is not #1 in the FPI after beating the team which beat the #1 team in the FPI by 25 points tells me all I need to know about that metric. Also if you add up all of the power points from the top 30 teams LSU still has more power points played with one less game I might add.

It's a season power ranking, not a last game rank.

Im aware of what it is, but in what world does it make sense for a team which did not make the national championship let alone win it to be the #1 in a full season power ranking. That does not make sense.

You had the #1 offense, but your defense was not a top10 defense.

Hate hte Huskers with a passion but the gretest team I have seen in my long years was the 95 Huskers followed closely by the 19 LSU team.
