Outside of the MD coach, it’s been a minute since another school hired a Saban assistant for head coach.

You have a short memory? Locksley to Maryland was 4 years ago. Since then we’ve seen Sark be hired by Texas and Charles Huff by Marshall in 2021.

BoB and Golding weren't the problem. Last season Saban was focused on hotel ventures, car dealerships and insurance commercials. His team reflected this truth. If he gets his head back in the game, Alabama is off to Atlanta. If not, he'll end his career in the Kotex Bowl.

Saban's MO has always been to win the battle before it's ever fought. Stack the deck against the other team with more talent and "out talent" them. He can't do that against UGA anymore. And in games against other teams like LSU and UT this year when the initial plan goes south he's not good enough of an in game coach to counter it.

This entire statement is bullshite. Especially that part.

Maybe you missed the National Championship win against Georgia and the SEC championship win against Georgia as well. You probably also missed the onside kick against Clempsen in 2015. Those are the biggest but there are also others.

On the biggest of stages his plans have "gone south" in major ways, only to pull out wins.

When his head is in the game, he wins. When he's detached, he doesn't. Last season proved that. He was eaten up with the same sort of "clutter" he's preached against for years.

His problem is that he no longer hates losing more than he loves winning. He's softened up.
