I mean you’d think this guy grew up watching state rattle off 10 win seasons every other year. I’m not saying be satisfied with less than mediocre results, but if you can’t evaluate things in totality then you don’t have an ounce of objectivity in your body.

Right! Being able to go to a bowl game is a HUGE thing for a program like State that is trying to get back up off the mat after a tough stretch.

So we are bowling at 5-7. Should we be? No. But circumstances as they are, it’s a big positive.
We have made a decent hire at DC bringing back Arnett for that position. He ran the defense during leach and did a commendable job at it. We can use this to ease him back in the mix at that former position.
And it’s a decent bowl against an ACC opponent. The more teams that go bowling, The bigger the conference haul.
It’s a step, among others, in the right direction. I’m on board for this. Word of the off-season is again improvement. This is an assist in that getting KT snaps as QB1.

The schedule toughened up and the grind of the SEC exposed the lack of depth and that caught up with us.

Should have beat Texas, honestly would have saved a lot of bs from the committee. However it exposed the committees flaws

Stupid take. Almost a month of practice for returning players can’t hurt. Also it gives time for Arnett to evaluate and work with players.
