No, they do not have the facilities. They don't have the student/fan base, they probably do have enough rich donors, to support SEC size events.

The State of Tennessee would have been involved as the road to and from I-24 would have had to be widened to at least four lanes.

Even though Athens had one lane in and one lane out for decades, when coming from the North.
