I would be in support of something like this - like the annual SEC v. ACC basketball challenge.
Would make for some great game / opportunities to go catch a game in places you otherwise never would. Would love to go watch my team play @ Oregon, @ Nebraska, @ Michigan, etc...

Within 5 years of the SEC- Big 10 Challenge LSU will still have never played Michigan. It’s impossible to get that matchup even with the 350 bowl tie ins we’ve had over the years.

I understand the logic of aligning the pairings based on previous years standings....
...reality is there is only one set of schools in the two conferences that have a long standing rivalry.
Kentucky and Indiana. Yes, in football not just basketball.
