A bigger playoff is needed this year more than any other.

I'll tell you why angry man, because college football is dying, and it is the right thing to do for the overall health of the sport. It started with players opting out of bowl games to prepare for the NFL draft, and now COVID has given them an excuse to opt out of the whole season. The players don't care if you aren't playing for anything, and a bowl game means very little to the ones who are about to make a bunch of money in the NFL.
Also it needs to go to 24 teams and run it just like the college football championship division does, only have the Bowl games be the playoff sites. There would be 23 games with byes for the top 8 teams.

And the reason it has to be 24 is because there are usually teams that had great seasons just outside the top 16. Are you telling me that Minnesota didn't belong in a playoff last season?

Its coming, wont be this year but its down the road for sure.
