Lmao. it was very egregious. Everyone seemed to miss it though, it happens!

A gather step is not a travel he didn’t have possession until he gathered himself lol

I think he has 30 years of pent up frustration of Bobby being the champ of the family

He was yelling about the big missed traveling underneath the basket on a Florida rebound. He switched pivot foot right in front of the ref. 2 plays before that there was a travel before pass to Clayton who drove to the basket and scored.

U Conn player took 4 steps after an offensive rebound and dished it for a bucket.

Basketball Refs call very little travel anymore. It is stupid. Hurley nor fans can bitch about refs after they called Chinyulu for the foul when the guard climbed his back to get the rebound in the first. Matter of fact all the fouls on Chinyulu where garbage.

I had a very hard time understanding this. The casual basketball fan(I am one) generally doesn’t understand traveling.

Haha you're probably right. I missed that play. I'm sure overall UConn didn't really get screwed, just seemed like it in the last couple minutes. Refs have been garbage in this tournament.

Would have loved to see Hurley's reaction had he been coaching AU for the Virginia Final 4 ending. He legit may have tried to murder a ref.

Any admiration that he earns for being a good coach, he washes it away by being such an arrogant, massive douche.

Which is fine. No big deal but being confident while you’re wrong like the guy I responded to is kind of irritating though.

Dan Hurley is the most unlikeable coach in CBB by a mile

Is that because he tends to win?

I guess after watching a season of SEC basketball officiating I'm pretty numb to shitty refs from other conferences.

The officiating in the Auburn-Creighton game was dreamy. There was no ref trying to antagonize Chad Baker Mazara into a tech.

Not sure what you're referring to...

It was a Florida defensive rebound. He pivoted around his left foot once or twice, then completely switched pivot feet, right in front of the ref lol.

I don't think UConn got screwed overall, it was just at a very critical juncture, nobody saw it, whatever-it happens.

There was a time when a Eurostep would been a routine travel call.

And before the Europstep... guys used to do the jump-stop...

there as a time when the jump-stop would have been travelling.

There was a time when pivoting more than about 180 degrees would get you a traveling call.

And there was a time that laying on the floor with the ball was pretty much an automatic traveling call.

And these days, the stuff that goes on in the post would be a foul on every half court play.

But they did take away hand checking guys out front by gawd.

Thought you were talking Clayton in the corner. The play you’re talking about happens 10 times a game. Expecting that call is not smart.
