Ole Miss will never be rife with talent. They can't recruit against LSU in LA, or Bama and Auburn in Alabama, and still will have certain recruits choose Starkvegas.

They think because we both went 7-1 in conference play they tied us for first place in the west. Even though the rules state two way tie breakers go to the head to head winner.
Also we went 5-0 in the west to their 4-1. Our only loss was to Florida from the east. If we both went 4-1 in the west, while dumb, I wouldn't mind their participation medal mentality as much.
So they didn't win the west yet hung a co champ banner. years later they are apparently leaving out the Co. I guess when you go 50+ years without being relevant in your own conference even fake championship feel good.

Reminds me of the coach I played for at LSUE. One of our players (got drafted by the Rockies) got paralyzed by a freak accident. Him, me and a few other players were throwing football on a rain day, he slipped in a drainage-type hole. Long story short, all of the players had to gather in a classroom and put their head down on the desk. He blamed the accident on players not accepting Jesus in their lives. Whoever didn't believe had to raise their hands and go in the back to get "saved". I quit the team shortly after.
