Well Deuce Gerald’s was a RB in HS so I feel as though he might fit the mold better
He has elite speed, elite hands, elite physicality. He played in the UA AA game as a JR and looked like the best WR out there. He made another absurd one handed catch in the game

That’s like looking at Ja’Maar Chase coming out of HS and wishing what makes him good. When you see him play you’re like “oh, I get it”
Yea, softball and basketball are on the same scale of relevance
Kevin Durant, might not be a GOAT in sense of the elite elites…but offensively this dude for 10-12 years was a top 3 nba scorer. He is an absolutely incredible player and a first ballot never a doubt HOFer
Appreciate it. Like I said, I wanted to rewatch to pause and really break it down. That makes sense. I thought that 2 Bees and Hardyng got smoked and 2 guys were free, but didn’t think of Daeron then also Lyonel

I NEED more info with how Raymund survived…I guess he just knew his cousin’s moves so well?
Well yea, I thought that was Aerion’s right, obviously don’t care but pretty understandable why he would think someone would help him.

Like I said, There were a few camera pans of other fights so a rewatch can see more. Aerion was fighting and Maekar tried to defend him and 2 people held him back. Need to go back and see who held him.

I guess I don’t just assume the kingsguard are dead. They can’t kill Baelor but Baelor just executed them? That doesn’t seem like him at all.

I didn’t read the novellas so maybe I’m just an idiot. There were a ton of moving parts so who knows, assume it will all be explained next week but just in ordering the cliffhanger we are left with
Disappointed only because I had unreal expectations. I enjoyed the rawness of it. I texted my friend last night and said it felt like I was in the fight, they did a great job of that. I enjoyed the flashback until we had Dunk following Arlan around for 5 minutes. We had young Dunk literally following around a guy we watched get hammered dancing around a fire for almost as long as we had a battle. I could have cut some of that out and see a little more fighting from others.

I usually watch the episodes 2-3 times to see what I miss, definitely want to see the fight scene again because Baelor is fighting 2 people and I wonder if we see him get hit.

I don’t think that was close to the best episode though. We had Egg just yell “Get Up” 50 times, then Dunk get pierced with a lance 8 inches into his stomach, stabbed 4 times with a knife, stabbed twice with a sword, clubbed twice in the head with a mace…I mean he had literally no shot to be alive. Could have done a little less Dunk getting his arse kicked. Then he dies and comes back to life stronger? Still my favorite show on tv at the moment, but the trial of 7 was a little lackluster

Also, if no one was going to help Aerion why the hell did he ask for trial of 7? It became just a 1v1 anyway which Aerion clearly wanted to avoid. Dunk gets hit in the head and face repeatedly, takes his helmet off and no one kills him? Dunk’s side had 2 guys immediately die so there were plenty of free knights to help Aerion
Not hating on the take, but there seems to be lots of guys it will be hard to keep out of the lineup. The non conference will be very exciting to see different guys. This team is so insanely deep.
Some nba insiders were on Twitter a month ago saying there was “literally zero trade market” for Cam. I couldn’t believe it either given some of the horrendous guards around the league that keep getting opportunities. But then I slowly kept an eye on it, and when I would check box scores he seemed to barely play or do anything. I guess the only way to trade him is with a package of other players. Still seems weird but he just isn’t well received by front offices

Also, even at LSU, he was quiet and just did his work and went home. That can be good and bad. When you aren’t efficient and have no friends on the team, you’re very expendable
Spring Games don’t exist anymore
He is a rapper, Toosii is his stage name. He started college and dropped out because of his rap career. I believe he just turned 26. He started training and wanted to play college football. Syracuse offered him a spot then Fran Brown apparently said things that were a lie so he didn’t enroll. I have no idea if he is playing at LSU, but with Lane embracing pop culture I would expect him to be on the team

This is something that if it works out would be an amazing recruiting tool and one more thing for the LSU brand. I hope he walks on and has a great experience. I don’t care if we even give him a scholarship. Not sure why fans are worried about any of this

Tony Skinn is the next guy. He has moved around, spent 4 seasons in Ruston, young, gets the environment.

We are not in a position to overpay some P4 coach who is good. We have to go mid major. This is the guy we should zero in on. In about 6 weeks he will be a household name
That’s fine. He started building last year. 2 doors down form one of my good friends. It is an absurd house and I told my buddy I was confused why this is being built

Spencer Callahan is his neighbor

McMahon has a brand new 20k sq ft house

Off of Riverbend and I don’t know why. No one will buy it when you get fired

I have taken up for him and I stand up for some of that, but against the 2 worst teams in the league you throw up goose eggs. I means frick you.

I have been one of the most diehard guys for LSU bball for 20 years. But twice now AT HOME we are down by more than 20? Every single layer gets home vs McMahon.
Because we didn’t have DJ Thomas to start SEC play and we are much better with him. But you likely haven’t watched so you wouldn’t know that

re: Why MBB lost to Arkansas

We lost by 4 on the road to a top 20 team. The team’s last 2 sec home games they win by 25 and 34.

I’m going to keep saying it in every thread. When DJ Thomas is healthy this is a quality basketball team. You’re probably 4-3 if he is healthy from start of SEC play. Regardless you can win 3 of the next 4 and you’re right back in the hunt of the tourney
I just hate how un knowledgeable our fanbase is with basketball. 90% didn’t watch prior to SEC play, so they don’t even know we were missing DJ Thomas for 5 games. He comes back and we lose by 4 on the road to a top 20 year. We have 3 losses under 4 points. People act like we are a completely hopeless team

MSU
@USCe
Georgia
Arkansas

Need to go 3-1, which is very possible
We missed DJ Thomas for our first 5 games. He played sparingly off the bench on the road at Florida. First full game back and we went to the wire at Arkansas, a team that in their last 2 home games beat Vandy by 25 at home and beat USCe by 34

We still aren’t as dead as people think

Kiffin keeps things under wraps. We won’t have a clue about what is going on

Take from MBB also…

Anybody who says something like this is completely clueless. No matter how bad McMahon is, that is the only other sport that every year BRINGS IN MONEY. Insanity
