Haven will be an extremely long line of guys who are overrated because of their “upside”..but they ignore things that actually make QBs good. Decision making, accuracy, quick release, fundamentals

There are so so many QBs the last 5 years who are 6’4+ and can run and disappear immediately in college.

I watched an OM team with Metcalf and AJ Brown lose in tiger stadium
As your #12 player it is fine. Put a guy from the Rec on the team and he will be worse than him. So, actually, it does help us
Not exactly a coincidence that Madar News then this guy is announced. This guy got paid breadcrumbs and hopefully never sees the light of day…but if Madar doesn’t make it to campus at least we don’t have a walk-on playing
Robert Miller is so soft. He has every chance but he didn’t even take a minor step in the right direction this year.
I just want to point out that Saliou Niang was drafted 58th overall a year ago in the nba draft….

Say what you want, but there are 60 draft picks in the nba. So for one season, he was worthy of being a top 60 IN THE WORLD, but a year later he wouldn’t be a top 300 transfer and probably barely crack top 500 in college basketball….ok

But to be honest…this kid is Tari Eason 2.0 at LSU. Same size, prior season Tari was a 8ppg, 5rpg guy. Niang mirrors that but better comp and WAY better FT%. Wade dove into tons of analytics and called his shot with Tari, I sure hope this is what Niang becomes
Moore got hurt for basically 4 games. Then they played James Madison and were up 5 scores in the first half. He will break out this year

But regardless, Easton Royal is built different and thick. I think he is 6 foot 200, he looks big and only a JR. I think he is an elite player

Yes, we get WRs drafted even we were have incompetent playcalling, but I think he is one of those rare LA WRs (also think he will come to LSU)
I totally don’t blame him going if projected 20-28…but I’m sorry this is insane to me. I watched him. I think he has amazing upside, and that’s obviously what teams would be drafting….but this draft is so star studded and deep. This kid is at least a couple years away from actual NBA minutes.

It’s whether he wants to train in the G League or at LSU.

ETA: his length and shooting and athleticism is legit. In the NIL world…if you test poorly at the combine come back to school then you either ball and go to NBA or do alright and get a fat check again.
Nuss will start as practice team guy and Fields will eventually move on or get passed up. His best days are behind him. Guy is on his 4th team in 6 years. They aren’t going to keep paying him good money to sit behind Mahomes. This is a great spot for Nuss
It’s kind of hilarious the lengths people are going to to act like this is ok. We are clearly missing.

I have no option but ride with Wade and hope..but we have a random 1 commit then no one else, then losing a stud FR PG who was last to enter the portal and said he was open to coming back, to TAMU. This is shitty
Haven has nfl mvp ceiling with gets moved to WR floor

Houston’s floor is insanely high, his ceiling is a little more sketchy. I think he can be a high draft pick

I am nobody, and I obviously love Houston is going to LSU…but I have told friends and anyone who would listen for a couple of years that Haven’s throwing mechanics are horrific. Just look at the elite 11 camp both he and Houston went to. I’m sorry, but there are throws where you go “that looks unnatural”. He will have to completely change his throwing motion getting to college.

Absolutely can happen, but how willing is he to sit while it happens and who is changing the motion etc. I want Houston

A little unlucky for him and us. He was a very good player but Houston is interesting

They’re very defensive oriented, kind of interesting choice for them
Oh boy, here we go again. This is going to be an insane offseason
Pretty obvious the only reason LSU would keep him is if they think Wade would wait more one year to jump. CMM is an absolute lame duck coach and he is going to get fired eventually, just depends when.

Question is: Would LSU fans let McMahon coach one more season if it meant Wade would come the following year?

McMahon needs to go, and loathe him… but let’s not act like DJ Thomas and Reed weren’t 30% of that and haven’t played half the season. The roster playing in the sec is $5ish. No miller, the one in the tourney is $4 mil
Robert Miller and his lack of development is a main reason this team is terrible. $1 mil for a dude who can’t rebound or score or defend.
There were like 9 guys who ran 40’s. It doesn’t matter AT ALL that he didn’t test at the combine

It’s about how well he tests not where he tests. He goes and runs a 4.49 with a 40 inch vert not a single team will say “well that wasn’t in Indianapolis”
Well Deuce Gerald’s was a RB in HS so I feel as though he might fit the mold better
He has elite speed, elite hands, elite physicality. He played in the UA AA game as a JR and looked like the best WR out there. He made another absurd one handed catch in the game

That’s like looking at Ja’Maar Chase coming out of HS and wishing what makes him good. When you see him play you’re like “oh, I get it”
Yea, softball and basketball are on the same scale of relevance
