losing golden boy at quarterback and eye buldger on defense, how is florida gunna compare next year to the previous Florida Teams. Who is the quarterback to step in next year?

Some of the idiots on this board actually think Brantley is better than Tebow.
There isn't another QB in the country that I would want on my team over Tebow. If Brantley was the better QB, he would have been playing over Tebow. Period. Its a good possibility that Florida could lose 3-4 games next season. Still a ton of Talent, but its not that easy to replace it.

John Brantley.... I say they go 9-3 next year with a trip to the Cap One Bowl.

lets see how long it takes before we find out who their head coach in 2010 will be, then ill let you know what i think about UF next year

I bet they do better than we have the last two years

Losing their entire coaching staff and going to a new offense and defense will put a big hurt on Florida next year.

I'm sure it was moved from the Rant to the SEC Rant.

Ohhh, if that's true, then never mind!

probably posted on Tiger rant then moved, but I'll chime in next yr they take a hit. I think Brantley wil have better qb skills, but Tebow may be one of the greatest leaders and competitors in cfb in the last 20 yrs.

I've been wondering about the 2010 florida team too. maybe someone can expand on this but aren't they supposed to lose several juniors to the draft? obviously tebow is gone and they are going to need a new defensive coordinator. at first glance you would think it's a rebuilding year for them (like 07) but with the talent they probably have on the bench it wouldn't surprise anyone if they had a year like bama did last year.

Brantley is very good, he has a great future. Will it take time to adjust as a starter? Yes. But the offense next year is very promising with a stable of running backs and a couple WR's returning from injury this past year.
The defense will be interesting, but there are a bunch of kids that have been waiting around a while to get there chance.

We are losing some juniors, but coming in from last year we returned our entire two deep, so there are some very talented guys who have had to wait around to get there shot.

they'll be fine. their depth chart is deeper than any other team in the ncaa other than USC.

10 win season at best. Will beat LSU in Swamp in the last minutes.

How'd that work out for USC?

Exactly. You cannot put a price tag on experience. Bama will struggle to get to 10 wins as well because of the losses on D. I think next year may be the most wide open the SEC has ever been.
