Stupid and an A&M fan is no way to go through life, son.
LSU has nothing to gain by playing Tulane. Texas is the premiere program and university in your state. A&M can not avoid this. Playing them would bring great benefit to A&M’s program, but only if you win. Which you don’t and won’t, so you chose instead to run to the SEC and pretend you’re too good for them.

That’s ridiculous, we left the big 12 as they were in the middle of starting a decade long losing streak to everyone. They have been afraid to play us for eight years now that’s just a fact

I know it probably isn't going to happen, but man I am hoping we go to the Texas Bowl to play the Longhorns.

There is no benefit for Texas by playing A&M. They established themselves long ago as the dominant program and university.
A&M stands to gain everything by playing them and winning. But you can’t. And won’t. That’s the real reason you don’t play. You tried for centuries to supplant them and all it got you was a damaged psyche and creepy traditions.
You finally just gave up and ran to the SEC. Where you’re beginning to understand that you will never win here either.

Texas would curb stomp A&M back to the 1950’s if they played. A&M is Ole Miss but without the fine women.

I grew up watching this great rivalry and think most bowl games are boring since the playoffs. This one would break the mold. It would probably have better TV ratings than teams with 9 and 10 wins.
