Nick Marshall- Leading heisman candidate after 41-7. One of best running quarterbacks in recent memory. Highly criticized but under-rated passer of the ball. Lit up a supposedly stellar Alabama defense.
Sammie Coates- leading receiver who embarrassed and threw down texas a&m defender in 2013 game. Went ham against Alabama in 2014 and caught game tying catch in 2013. One of fastest most physical receivers in sec. Has made great deep ball catches throughout career.
Cameron artis Payne- most under-rated running backs in 2014. Led sec in rushing. Was just as good as the mason according to many coming into 2014.
Reese dislikes- best center in cfb in 2014. Leader and Remington trophy winner
Patrick miller- solid lineman who was expected to have a good 2015 season
Gave wright- very good defensive lineman who was a playmaker. Had impressive highlights in senior bowl
Robenson Thereze- great defender who had key gamechanging interceptions vs ole miss in 2013 and arkansas in 2014. Led team in interceptions in 2013.
Jonathan mincy- solid cornerback who was second team all sec coming into 2014
Cj uzomah- solid ight end. Caught gm touchdown vs Mississippi state in 2013. Had key catches in big games over course of career. Caught touchdowns against bama in 2013 and had a td vs lsu and whisky in 2014 season
Chad slade-criticized offensive lineman who many are glad he is leaving but he was a starter
Quan bray- punt return specialist and playmaker as a wide receiver
Corey grant- fastest man in college football as a running back going into 2014. Quality scatback who will be missed
Solid backups Ladarius Owens and Mackenroe Alexander are also leaving...
Almost all of auburns offensive production in the kick 6 game are gone.
And another question... How good is Jeremy Johnson? He played arkansas to a tie in a half of football. His protege nick marshall out scored arkansas 24-0 when he came back in game

Not trolling y'all

Yes, you are. A lot of those guys had mediocre production. They're not all "key" losses. I really can't believe you took the time to write all of that.

I don't even think Malzahn planned for players to leave. We are so screwed. If only there was a way to bring more players in to fill needs.

Well since you know so much about AU why don't you tell us.

Johnson's half against Arkansas
ATT YDS YPA TD INT
Jeremy Johnson 12 16 243 15.2 2 0
Dude has a better arm than Marshall IMO. He was definitely not the reason the game was so close at halftime... Or at least not due to his inability. Actually if he hadn't been playing that well, the game would not have even been tied at that point. So he was the reason it was close
Plus he's huge. Probably pretty tough to take down. Kind of like... that dude from Ohio they call 12 gauge

We won't replace them. We will suck. The AD at the end of the season of 0-12 will decide that it just isn't worth it anymore. We'll hire the folks that blew up the West side of Kyle Field and just blow up Jordan Hare entirely. We'll have a party afterwards the likes you've never seen.

Key departures are Marshall, Dismukes, and Coates. Everyone else is replaceable.
Hell Mackenro Alexander never even really saw the field at all and he's a key departure?
You spent all that time writing about something you know very little about.

Hardest players to replace:
Nick Marshall- JJ will fill that role very well, but in a different way. Look at Gus's Offense at Tulsa, and you will see the production possibility under JJ. The SEC is not used to a passing QB the last few years.
Coates- Duke Williams was the leading receiver, and Coates played the deep threat. Had some issues over the middle and dropped some big passes. Plenty of depth at WR.
CAP- Gus will always have a 1000 yard rusher. Match that with a good passer, and the Offense will be better next year.
OL- AU was two deep at the Offensive Line this year, and will get some injured players back and some transfer players. That is why Miller entered the Draft.
I will not go over replacing Defensive players, mainly because of Will Muschamp. These players might be great, but they did not show it under Ellis Johnson.
Again, AU only needs an average Defense under Gus to be a formidable force. Most people think they will be at least average under Muschamp.

Nick Marshall- Jeremy Johnson is a better QB
Sammie Coates- Duke Williams is back
Cameron artis Payne- Running back U
Reese dislikes- Austin Golson
Patrick miller- Who?
Gave wright- Inconsistent player, but depth on the DL is a concern
Robenson Thereze- Had a few good games and was a fan favorite, but replaceable by any of our LBs
Jonathan mincy- Terrible CB and our biggest liability on defense. Losing him helps our defense.
Cj uzomah- as evident in the Senior Bowl, he is slow and an average at best blocker. We dont use the TE position very much outside of blocking responsibilities. Not much of a loss
Chad slade- We have better replacements.
Quan bray- He was a good player but replaceable.
Corey grant- Fast but didnt have the agility to go with it. Not much of a loss
Solid backups Ladarius Owens and Mackenroe Alexander are also leaving - Both barely saw the field and will not be missed.
Almost all of auburns offensive production in the kick 6 game are gone. - How does this matter?
And another question... How good is Jeremy Johnson? - He is very good
