I’ll bet Auburn’s numbers took a big hit after this last draft.

We had 6 players drafted this year, same as Clemson

If Vandy isn't on the list because they're not a top team, then there's no way in hell SCAR should be on the list

It's hard to get much more than 50% of your roster drafted when 90% of the roster "should" be drafted and there are only so many spots on the field. I'm assuming if Bama or Ohio State was at 80+% they'd win every game by 60.

It's not just an indication of a school's ability to develop. I bet Texas is getting nailed because a bunch of those Texas kids are massively overrated coming out of high school.

A&M is pulling from the same talent pool Texas is.

This. Even if Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, etc. get 11 players drafted per year, there are still probably 13 (based on the 25 per class) that never really got to see the field that much based on the competition in front of them, that "should" have been drafted.

The 'High School Rating' isn't always right. Recruiting rankings aren't an exact science. Many times a 3* recruit ends up being a 5* and a 5* ends up being a 3* (or lower) in reality.

All this tells us is Texas has a lot of overrated recruits and Washington does a good job with the recruits they sign.

I'd be really curious to see how Vandy stacks
You gave the world Jay Cutler and for that alone your school should be banned from contending.

I may have an irrational hatred of Jay Cutler but look at this resting bitch face.

He'd throw a pick six and then the camera would pan to the bench and he looks like his sitting there mulling over his Chipolte order for later. It used to drive me insane.

What?! Smokin' Jay was the gift that kept on giving! Well, he still does if anyone watches the reality show he's on about his wife.

Really, it's not surprising his "don't give a frick" attitude was so bad in Chicago. He got shite on by the Broncos while he was a borderline Pro Bowl QB then went to a team who had no OL and wanted him to throw deep so often. It's hard to care when it's clear the front office and coaches don't care and/or are literally the most incompetent people in the league.

This is precisely why it's stupid for a four star player to even consider Alabama. Go somewhere you will be the priority and get drafted or take a chance on being out of football in 3 years. Go ahead go to Bama and sit on a bench.

If those "bunch of free agent caliber players" - as you say - were players that were rated as prospects expected to be drafted, then yes. They ultimately got drafted.

Obviously the chart here, would indicate that those who are NOT drafted, were prospects who were rated to be drafted out of high school - regardless of round - but ended up not being drafted at all.

So, go ask that formerly high-rated prospect, who ended up NOT being drafted at all, if being a free agent caliber player who was drafted in the 6th and 7th round is good, and tell me what he says to you....

I don't think you understood my post.
