How the hell is South Carolina favored against Kentucky? (-2.5)

Even considering the old rule of thumb that the home team gets 3 points, this makes zero sense. MINIMUM I'd go 4.5 - 5.5.
Not that I think South Carolina is treated any differently than Kentucky in football in relation to the upper echelon of teams in the conference, but this almost feels like it's just because their name is Kentucky. Again, I don't feel the perception of Gamecock football is any different than Kentucky football. We're both shite historically. But it's the only thing that makes sense to me. I feel like I've seen South Carolina be underdogs in similar situations, because we're South Carolina. Don't ask me to prove that right now.
Zero reason for anyone to believe we win against Kentucky today on paper. Might actually put my money where my mouth is. Maybe I'm missing a key injury?
Sorry y'all are getting disrespected big blue. I fully expect y'all to win today. I'm sure both teams will herp-derp through the entire thing, as they do. Yall pull it out in the end though. You all got the shiny new coach, and we have...Beamer. And his stupid sunglasses. I honestly hope that died with Stoops departure.
tl;dr - kentucky should be favored no matter where this game is played; if we keep it a buck right now, we arse

Vegas must be at our fantastic practices.

I hammered UK with the points harder than my wife on our wedding night
USC is a dead team with a dead coach. UK is a rising team with a rising coach

Do those practices include WRs being open by 30 yards against our defense and our OL having the consistency of a wet paper bag from China Wok II?
Not even mentioning Sellers
Beamer liked what he saw though, so all is great!
Maybe SOSFan was onto something

Completely agree. Almost rooting for Kentucky today, but I can never outright root for us to lose. I'll definitely bet on it though
I do always root for Kentucky outside of our games, in everything but basketball. Obvious reasons. A "kindred spirits" type of deal in my mind. Most of their fans on here are fun to talk to, as well.

Bro it's bad
Im 21 rows up in the south endzone for home games, and I joked (but it was likely true) that I was closer to a MSU WR than any player on our defense.
It can be 3rd and 30, opponents have a chance if they just chuck it deep or keep the pocket alive long enough. Separation is inevitable, by a country mile. The amount of times I've seen it happen is insane. Different zip code type shite

Why?! You should have hammered Florida with points! Didn't you know Drinkwitz has never beaten a ranked SEC team as the Missouri HC?

I bet on UF too
Just not as much as I did on UK. My two biggest bets of the day are UK and Ohio State both laying points 2.5 and 13.5
ETA sorry it’s early OSU laying 13.5 UK +2.5

I’ve only been to your stadium once.
When yall clowned us 35-7
Worst road game ever been too
Was in college and one of my groomsman was going there while I was at UGA. Was stuck in the student section that whole time

That's just bad luck for you
Ace Sanders punt return is still the loudest moment ever for me anecdotally. Only one that comes close is the Rocket Sanders TD a couple years back against Mizzou.
That edit made it so much worse too

I was miserable to an massive degree
it was me in UGA gear surrounded by my friend and his entire frat and associates sorority all cracking jokes at me
in the heart of yalls student section.
It was all in good fun though and everyone treated me amazing. One drunk guy tried to tell me to leave the student section but they all said to frick off to him. About the worst I got

Honestly surprising to me considering it was the student section, and that goes for most student sections
Glad you were treated right.
Make it back sometime, one thing we do okay in is home game atmosphere (especially at night) and you likely won't have to worry about losing

This is definitely true 100%. I had a blast all day prior to the game. Now that I’m late 30s I’d like to take my wife to a game there instead of being a 22 year old college student who hadn’t even met her yet and was solely focused on how drunk I could get

I don't bet on sports, but if I did, I'd have to jump on that.
